Pamper Yourself on Sunday

The rainy season has arrived, so every morning will be really cold and it's hard to resist my warm bed. 

I'm not good in making title I guess? LOL but that's how do I feel, sometimes I feel really lazy to do anything on Sunday, but I need to pamper myself after a long tiring week, make my mind and body fresh again then ready for Monday. I used to do this every week when I was in high school.

Ready to pamper yourself?

First of all make sure, you'll use the bathroom for a long time. I prefer to do it in the bathroom since it's easier to get rid of the mess later. Beside I dislike being seen when I wanna have a time for myself.. okay so just bathroom.You can do it wherever you feel comfortable.

What do you need?

-Lukewarm water

-Towel 

-Your favorite toiletries(such as body wash, shampoo, included your facial foam)

-Sheet mask

-Body Scrub

-Unused toothbrush

-Toothpaste

All you need in the bathroom (mentioned in again!) Then you should understand why I prefer and suggest you to use bathroom (again!)

Okay let's begin then...

1.Bath with a lukewarm water. I'm not a person that like to bath with lukewarm water everyday, because I just love shower with its cold water. It wakes me up. So I just bath with lukewarm water when it's raining, when I will do my weekly body treatment,when I was sick or for a night bath. There's a big difference really...

2. Play with the bubbles! Haha I used to play with the bubbles created from my soap when I was a little. Just enjoy your time cleaning your body. :) just slowly and the soap fragrance will make you feel relaxed.

3. After that, I continue with scrubbing my body with the body scrub.

Here's the fun part then.

4. Put a big flat bucket. Pour in a lukewarm water, or you can add some hot water later if you want. Then just dip in your feet into the bucket. I love doing this. And you can put on your mask sheet on your face, or even your nose patch on. 

5. After that use the toohbrush with a small amount of toothpaste to clean up your nails.Especially to clean my toe nails that easily getting dirty. :)

6. Rinse your body again... And you're done! :D you can continue with put on some moisturizers on your face and body, then color your fresh and clean nails. 

I do this for years already and it helps me a lot to relax or just for having a little time for myself. Refresh my body and also my mind. After that I'll ready for facing another day..Easy and can be done by anyone at home :) 

I'm sorry for not updating my blog for about a week >.< got several works and can't find any single right time to write. Or else I forgot to capture several photos for reviews purposes. :) Hope could do the rest of update in next week..

Review : Pixy UV Whitening Gentle Cleansing Express

I believe after a long and tiring day, we might wanna rush and go to the bed immediately. Including me. I wonder if I have another way to clean my face faster. Because it's kinda bothersome if I have to wash my face with cleansing oil first, then continue with facial foam, followed by toner and moisturizer again in a condition I'm exhausted already and really need a rest. If I missed one step, face will looks super dull and breakout easily everywhere.. because I use my sunscreen everyday, and sunscreen must be cleaned properly.

 There's so many good reviews about this so I decided to try on  Pixy Gentle Cleansing Express, because sometimes when I didn't put much make up, I only need a quick cleanser that could remove dirt on my face.Well, I thought all in one cleanser in Indonesia is just not too good for cleansing... but I'm wrong >.<

I put several make-up things on my arm..

After one light swipe, all were cleaned perfectly except the eyeliner.

For honest, I'm amazed about how good it cleanse. It also claims about alchohol free so it can be used everyday without worry that it will dried up your skin.And you'd seen by your own how good it is. Plus the price is cheap and you can find it at the nearest supermarket or drugstore. 

But the things that bother me is, most of Pixy remover is fragranced. I used their make up remover and found the same . It really bothersome because the fragrance is kinda really strong. Sometimes it stings a bit. And you apply this all over your face. So it's kinda a minus point for me. Another thing that a little bit bother me about this product is, it's leaving a little bit sticky sensation after usage. It disappear after several minutes, but kinda make my face feel not clean enough.

I still prefer my old regime if I have time, just to make sure I'd cleaned my face properly. Because nowadays my face getting more sensitive. So I just use this when I didn't put any heavy make-up.

Review : ELF Studio Countouring Blush and Bronzing Powder

Back here girls! :) Lately I'm learning how to contouring . Well then I decide to buy ELF Studio Blush and Bronzing Powder. This product is widely known as dupe of NARS Orgasm and Laguna. But I never using any NARS product before so I couldn't make any comparation. So let's see how good it is. :3

It comes with a pretty black packaging that I love, and it has a quite big mirror inside. It looks classy for me and not bulky. Fit in perfectly in my make-up pouch. The amount of product is enough for me too. But they didn't include any brush, so prepare one by your own.

The price itself  is quite cheap. It's US$3 but I got it in here around US$ 6-7. Still affordable. And what I love from ELF is they brought so many good product with affordable price. This is really helpful for those who are still learning make-up like me but also on a tight budget. :D As a starter one, I think you shouldn't buy a high end make-up first, right?

In my opinion, the blush color is kinda sheer while the bronzer color is super pigmented. I don't know but the blush color might pop up more on fairer skin type. The color in the photo above is created when I take the blush with my FINGER and NOT with a brush. Because no matter how many times I put it with a brush, it always create such a sheer color that can't be captured with my cam. But still I love the blush color. It looks really natural on me even it tooks much effort to make it more popped up. But usually I just applied it around 2-3 times and it looks good already. And I prefer the sheer natural color how the way it is. :) just suits me perfectly. For those who expected for a pigmented blush, you might skip this one.

About the bronzer color, I found there's a hint of reddish brown on it when I applied it on my face. It doesn't show any redness when I swatch it on hand. I think it's kinda weird since I expected for a dark chocolate tone color for countouring. But after blend it all, I found there's no problem about the reddish brown color anymore. The staying power is also good! That's why I love it. And don't worry about shimmer that you see in the swatch or the packaging. They didn't appear at all when you'd applied them on your face. :)

Both of them aren't chalky and stays really good. But for those who have an oily skin, it might fade away after few hours especially the blush. I think the bronzer would stay much more longer than the blush. So I would recommend this for those who find a good and cheap blush and bronzer. :)

Unfortunately ELF doesn't have any counters in Indonesia. They just available in online shop, in ready stocks or pre-order system. But nowadays there's so many online shop that has provided ELF products, so I think it wouldn't be a big matter to purchase.

Movie Review : Jack and Jill + Ramblings

Few days ago I spent my day watching movie with my besties... well we just go and decide which movie are going next. The choice goes on Jack and Jill since I'd watched the other choice they wanna watch...

Here the story begin..

Jack Sadelstein is a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife and kids, who dreads one event each year: the Thanksgiving visit of his "identical" twin sister Jill. Jill's neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to Jack, turning his normally tranquil life upside down.

I won't tell you any further story about this movie, because it's just could ruin your imagination if you haven't watch this.:P

The first time I saw the poster at the cinema from afar, I just think oh damn who's the actress? Looks really.. really.. weird.. until I realize the word TWINS there.. okay I understand now.

And here is my opinion about this movie.. this is another silly comedy from Adam Sandler. This is REALLY entertaining! I and my friends couldn't stop laughing along the movie. It's not exaggerate at all and just flow like how the comedy should be. Kinda many theatrical movement and singing too from Al Pacino. There's so many talented artist played such an unusual role in this movie...

This movie also taught us a really good moral about family. I'm really touched with the sentences that Al Pacino said about Jill when Jack asked about what is the good thing about Jill that he loves. For Jack, Jill isn't nothing but someone who bother him a lot..Al Pacino said Jack is already gain everything that he could such as a happy family, a successful carrier, wealth, and so on.. but Jill never get anything that she want because everybody think that she's weird and she's always alone. The only things she want is be close with family, and in this case Jack as her twins. It reminds me sometimes how easy we put aside someone like Jill in our daily life. >.<

Highly  recommended! XD especially for those who love comedy, you SURELY don't wanna miss it guys!

Exam Update! 

Just wanna share a little amazing story about my exam again ... hope you guys don't mind.. :D

After watching movies, my uni friend text me and said that the exam score has been published online! Okay I'm super panic because I'm thinking that I'm not ready for that. I'm really surprised that it was published faster. Usually it takes around 1 month before all score were published...and it's super scary every time I have to see my score.. >.< feels like gambling sometimes because you can't guess whether it will be good or not. Especially for my VisComDes major that I'd mentioned in my previous post...I even got  SEVERAL nightmare about it ...but in fact when I'm awake I never even remember for just a second about my exam score.

 The reason is absolutely because I got the same lecturer that taught me on last semester with the same major too.. And I depressed about how cruel is he in giving score..and it feels unfair for several people (I am not the only victim :O )... so I really scared that the same thing will happen again.. and the worst thing is, this semester VisComDes major has a bigger point than before, it's 6 sks and the last one is only 4 sks. So can you imagine how afraid I am about this? This one major could ruin my total score!

 I'm getting more panic because I can't open the website with my cellphone. And has to be patience until I go home.

Okay sign in to my student account, click the Score section.. peek into my IP first.. and oh my! Can't believe it!  It raised so damn high than the past semester.

I got an A for my VisComDes!!!!

I still can't believe that... can not until I open my facebook, and there's so many friends are updating their stats with such a grateful words too! >_< Then I chat with so many classmates and everybody agree that we got such a big miracle in this semester LOL... Well we did a really good job guys this semester!! And I just feel like this is my best New Year presents! Thanks God.. >.< I'm so relieved... say goodbye to my nightmare from now on xD...

I should pay attention more on my study I guess.. :) hope I could graduate as soon as possible and go get a job.. hehe..

Happy New Year 2012!

It's New Year already... :D Fireworks is everywhere.. can't get enough of silence though.. It's really crowded although I was at home. And I captured some fireworks too.. Click the image for see the bigger size.

Here are my resolutions for 2012... I think I should concentrate more on my careers and also my hobby (it's important xP)...

1. Work harder (esp. improve drawing skills).

Lol not study harder anymore... That means I have to improve my drawing skills and also design skills.Especially in making logos. I'm really interested to try make some more.And I guess I rarely draw again lately, and need to practice with my drawing tablet. Okay there's so many things to do about design.

2.Blog more often.. 

Well I do realize that I barely update my blog, especially when I'm busy with college. I'm thinking for making video or tutorials..but still wondering what kind of it. I also wanna do some change for my blog template and layout.. Thinking about how I could update my blog regularly too.

3. Learn make-up artistry more. 

Okay I mean I should try for playing more with make-up. I always wear such a simple make-up, wanna try such an extreme one LOL..Thinking it would works for my photography project one day. I still love photography, but not photography course at college. Another reason, I think it's not far away from what I'm learning now, drawing. Still related somehow. 

4. Learn knitting more.

 I'd finished learn basic knitting last year.. and I guess I should learn the intermediate one. Actually kinda lazy to learn bunch of patterns. But really impressed with several knitters work. Amazing!! I should learn such a larger project such as cardigans, capelet, and so on. Beside I still have so many yarn stocks to be knitted.

5. Deepen relationship with God.

Okay I'm not really such a religious person. But after a long chat with my best friends, I think there's always a chance to move on than do nothing. So I guess I should start it as soon as possible. :) Not much, but a little.Ian, you know what I mean. :D

6. Take care my relationship with my BF.

Lately I realize it's much more easier to start something new than take care of something that has been existed. My bad. Sometimes I feel like less of quality time.

I think every year I always make a resolution to learn. Well I think it's in my blood already that I love to learn a lot of new things. And feel really satisfied if I succeed learn something new. I guess there's so much things to do... And I hope I could finish some of them before my holiday end. Such in a spirit of new year now! Yeaaayyy happy happy new year!! (>ω<＊)
