Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara and Lasting Fine S Pencil Liner Review

I believe that somehow our eyes speak more than we could imagine. See how they tell the world about those sleepless night or how they reveal your lies perhaps. The same reason why people love to emphasize their eye makeup as they could define your statement indirectly. Personally, I like mine to be simple and fresh enough for daily as eye makeup could be simple and tricky at the same time. Doing great will make you look fabulous but on the other hand doing it wrong means disaster.

For the past few weeks, I'd been trying on Dejavu products, one of well known Japanese drugstore cosmetics. Never doubt Japanese cosmetic quality as most of them are usually great, especially for eye makeup products such as eyeliner and mascara. Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara and Dejavu Lasting Fine Pencil Liner in Brown.

DEJAVU FIBERWIG MASCARA

Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara has been around the Japan market since 2001 and well known for its lash lengthening effect. It contains more fiber which could help to add more length to your lashes without any fake eyelashes need. Not forget to mention that Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara is also formulated with advanced film coating that would help your mascara stays in place, waterproof and smudgeproof. 

Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara comes in a sturdy plastic container in bright red colors. It has a unique polygonal shape with the brand embossed in silver color. For the brush itself, I think it is suitable for Asian since the bristles are not too long and the curve is fine enough. 

Here are some little tricks on how to apply Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara to achieve the best results.

1. Apply the mascara on your lashes with the brush curve facing upward in horizontal motion.

2. Lift the brush up and apply mascara in vertical motion (up and down).

3. Curl your lashes with eyelash curler to maintain the shape and you're done.

The texture of this Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara is dry for my liking so it explains why the result is actually not bold or dramatic. I think it is more into an enhanced version of your natural lashes and it makes your eyes look more alive at the same time. Something that you would wear for daily. It is really easy to use, even for beginners. I even tried several approach to apply this mascara and the results are still the same. I bet it must be the light and dry formula so it will not easily clump on your lashes

I am not the biggest fan of mascara but I'd been using this mascara quite a lot since my first try. Most of mascara usually feels heavy and easily smudges on my oily lids. Therefore, I am kinda surprised on my first try because it feels like wearing nothing! 

There's one day I accidentally rub my eyes, it is extremely lightweight and I forgot that I have mascara on. Got no ugly smudges at all. It was flaking a little bit and I only need to swipe them off my skin with tissue paper. No worries too if you accidentally smear the mascara around your lids area, wait for it to dry and gently rub it until it flakes off. 

 Seriously, I love it like too much now.

DEJAVU LASTING FINE S PENCIL LINER in Brown

It's been a while since I use any pencil liner as most of pencil liners tend to smudge and I have oily lids. Therefore I'm pretty excited to give it a try. Dejavu Lasting Fine S Pencil Liner is an automatic pencil liner so there is no need to sharpen. Compared to the mascara packaging, I feel that it's kinda less sturdy. 

The liner itself is quite thin so I don't recommend you to twist the liner all the way to the bottom for the sake of your curiosity as there's a chance that it might break. let the product out too much or else it might easily break. Just let it out a little bit around 1 mm would do the job well.

As you can see, I could draw the line on my hand perfectly. Apparently it is a bit hard to draw on non-flat surface such as eyelids so I kinda need to draw it slowly to make sure an even application. If you find the liners tip is a bit hard, try to draw several lines on your hand to warm it up. Remember to wipe the tip clean after usage since it could be easily stained upon application.

The results is totally soft and natural. The brown color is totally perfect for the no-makeup look. I'd been using it together with Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara and I must say I really love it. As for the staying power, it doesn't live up to its claim which are 24 hours, it smudged on me by the end of the day but it doesn't smudge downward and create that sort of panda eyes mess so I'm okay with it. 

I haven't told you the best part. Another reason why I dislike mascara is because I need to spent most of my cleansing time to get rid of them.Good news is both Dejavu Mascara and Liner could be easily removed with lukewarm water! You can also easily remove them with micellar water as I usually do since I don't have water heater so micellar water comes in handy for me. 

Overall, I love both Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara and Lasting Fine S Pencil Liner especially if you're looking for a natural result. Easy to use and even more easier to remove, what's not lo love? <3 You can also check Dejavu's official social media to find out more about their other products.
