I usually stick to my big palette when it comes to eyeshadow. Well by the time I'm writing this post, I just realised that I never purchased any palettes since my first one. I'm happy with my palette but as you could guess, big eyeshadow palettes ARE NOT travel friendly. I could not imagine myself carrying the palette inside my bag, not forget to mention the risk of these eyeshadows could be ruined at anytime. Therefore, I'm pretty excited when Charis let me try on this duo eyeshadow from Too Cool for School.

Makeup Collaboration : Lovely Valentine Look

Hello everyone! I'm back with another tutorial for Valentine's Day. I'm doing a makeup collaboration with my blogger friends. ^o^ This is my first collaboration so I'm really excited!

I was quite shocked when I know the last time I make a tutorial was on last year Valentine's Day. Hahahaha hopefully I could come up with more makeup tutorials this year <3 

Review D'Eyeko False Eyelashes in Khatulistiwa and Cendrawasih

False eyelashes is one of my secret weapon if I had no time to do my eyemake-up because it could make your eyes awake and pop up instantly. Especially if you have such a small eye like mine. :D

D'Eyeko kindly sent me their Princess Syahrini collection. It consists of five types of eyelashes which are suitable for both daily and dramatic look.

For those who aren't aware with D'Eyeko brand, they are our local brand from Indonesia! All their lashes are made from 100% human hair and safe for contact-lens user. 

 I got mine in Khatulistiwa and Cendrawasih. 

Both of them look really thick and full! I was both excited and worried. Why? Because I'm not used with thick lashes but in the same time thick lashes could make a big difference. The last time I wear thick false eyelashes is probably when Franky did my makeover last year for Guess Anniversary (which was turn out really really good). 

So, let's take a closer look of them. 

D'EYEKO PRINCESS SYAHRINI LASHES in KHATULISTIWA

 It is claimed as the first double lashes-single band in Indonesia. So you don't need to put two false eyelashes together to create more volume.

It's really thick in real life and surprisingly doesn't feel heavy at all. I could also really tell that it feels like human hair when I touch it. Unlike other false eyelashes that feels like plastic, it feels like my own real hair. It's really soft and carefully handcrafted :) You could probably use it for several times. 

 But noted that it also need more effort to put on these lashes so it will looks good on you.

Not forget to mention the provided glue works really nice and make the eyelashes stays still! o.o I am totally impressed. They only need to create the packaging better since the quality is already awesome. :)

After you opened it for the first time, you can flip the other side (marked with an arrow) to close the bottle and store it for future use. :D

D'EYEKO PRINCESS SYAHRINI LASHES in CENDRAWASIH

It has a moderate length and volume to create a dramatic look. It is suitable for night events, parties, or any special occasion. 

So I tried to pull off the rocker look with Cendrawasih lashes 

... good enough or not??

Here's a comparison when I put those lashes on.

Cendrawasih could give enough length and volume without too-heavy-looking and could also go with simple makeup. And you can see how thick Khatulistiwa is, compared to Cendrawasih. I'm personally think that Khatulistiwa will be great for photoshoot or if you dare enough to wear a heavy eye make-up.

Comparison : Revlon Colorstay Creme Gel Liner in Black and Brown

Another post about Revlon Colorstay Creme Gel Liner. Well I said in my previous review here that I want to try another color, and I got the black shade at Revlon latest event! So I think I want to make a short comparison between them.

Revlon has launched their latest series of eyeshadow quad, Revlon Colorstay 16 Hour Eyeshadow. Coming up with 16 different shades that can be choose to create either natural or even dramatic look.

 I got mine in Inspired and Enchanted.

It comes in sleek handy packaging with clear plastic lid to make it easier to see through the color inside.

The retail price is  Rp 105.000,00. There are 16 different shades which is Addictive, Decadent, Precocious, Adventurous, Brazen, Siren, Seductive, Goddess, Inspired, Attitude, Enchanted, Moonlit, Serene, Bombshell, Luscious & Delightful.

I was really tempted by the color itself. So let's see the swatches to find out.

Actually I'm kinda disappointed by their pigmentation. It's kinda need an effort to make the color show up properly especially for Inspired. I tried to put on an eye primer before and I think it doesn't show any big differences. Because every time I try to blend the eyeshadow, they just fade away.But after several times usage, I find out that Enchanted is much more pigmented than Inspired so I think each variant has a different pigmentation.

However the good news is, the color is really subtle and nice to play with, especially for those who are new to make up. You don't have to worry if you will put too much eyeshadow on your lid. :)  You just need to know how to apply and build the color properly. I found out that it's much more easier to use the sponge applicator which is included inside than using eyeshadow brush. It could create a pretty nice look combined with bold black eyeliner (take a peek at color combination behind the packaging). You can also put your favorite false lashes like I did and voilaaa... :D Love it! 

The staying power is also quite good. Well it's not stay until the end of the day, but it still shows some color on your lid even without primer. :) I rarely found any eyeshadow that stays without eye primer. Most of eyeshadow set that I own need an eye primer keep them last longer.I think I will never wear eyeshadow all day long too, so this one work just fine for me.
