Innisfree No Sebum Powder Review

This is one of my best find in 2016 which I had mentioned here previously. I used to love loose powder back then as they are lightweight and but most of loose powder come in bulky packaging and not travel friendly. I'd read a lot of good reviews about Innisfree No Sebum Powder, especially for the oil control but again still hesitated to try. I got this powder simply because it was on sale when I was about to make purchase at one of local online store, so I actually had no plan or any big expectation for it. Perhaps fate has brought us together lol.

Innisfree No Sebum Powder comes in simple mint green packaging with a matte finish and pretty small if I would say. I like it since most of loose powder are quite bulky although in other words you'll get less amount of powder. There's a shifter and small puff included in it. The puff is a bit to thick for my liking as it's kinda stiff and hard to use so I usually stick with my powder brush.

Laser Hair Removal Experience with De Hair !

Do you have any concern about unwanted hair? Perhaps most of women did. I'm personally okay with hair on my arm or legs since they are pretty thin and slightly invisible. The only area that I concern is my underarms. The hair around my underarm area is not thick to begin with but still it is visible especially if I'm wearing sleeveless tops. It is very disturbing when I need to regularly shave or wax every time I want to wear sleeveless clothes. Besides, it is painful and hair tends to grow thicker than before which is another nightmare for girls. That's why I always curious with permanent hair removal.

Last month, KBJ and De Hair kindly invited me to try on their laser hair removal treatment. I was so excited since I never tried this kind of treatment before. I make an appointment and visited De Hair Laser Treatment at Mall of Indonesia, Kelapa Gading. I do recommend you to call and book an appointment before you come, especially on weekend.

The treatment room is pretty spacious and they gave us a sleeveless top to change into. They will also give you a pair of glasses before doing the treatment. The process is pretty similar with IPL. First, the targeted area will be shaved and the therapist will start applying a thick of cooling gel. If you're wondering what is the difference laser with IPL, so here it is. The therapist will set a certain amount of laser power for certain amount of time and they will continuously rub the targeted area with laser.



Talking about pain, it is painful. Not literally so much pain that will make you scream but do not expect the tiny ant bites just like when you're doing IPL. I feel sort of burning and tingling sensation in the middle of the process. The pain last me several days before it completely gone. Honestly, I was pretty horrified with the process and kinda afraid to try on laser treatment in the future.

It has been around a month so I think it is the right to see the treatment results. I am totally impressed. The amount of hair have been reduced like 75%! No kidding and it was only one treatment. Seriously, I am very impressed. I don't even notice that I rarely shave for this last one month. There are several strands of hair growing but it is completely unnoticeable since it grows thinner than before. Compared to several IPL treatment that I've been trying before, this laser treatment gives an obvious result, so all the pain I've been gone through is actually paid off.

However the other downside comes from the service. I feel that the therapist didn't communicate a lot to explain about the whole process so I feel like totally clueless and have no idea about what's going on while doing the treatment. They don't even explained what is the after treatment DOs and DON'Ts until I come with tons of questions. Not even asked about whether I have allergies, or my previous treatment history which mostly would be asked. I don't know if the standard for laser hair removal is different but I think the service could have been done better.

The treatment is quite pricey but I think the result is very satisfying and worth to try. Highly recommend this treatment for those who want to get rid of unwanted hair and see a noticeable results in one go.

An Insight of Beauty Rules

The first time I was introduced into the makeup artistry and beauty industry, I was overwhelmed by a lot of things. There are a lot of things I need to understand. When I started to learn about make-up, I don't know the benefits of primer, the importance of countouring, blending, and tons of other make-up techniques. I thought it was normal since it is not my expertise and I only need more practice.

The more I learn about it, the more time I spent to put on my make-up. I'm worry if I didn't do my makeup neatly. There are times I feel kinda frustrated when I didn't get things right or tired when I need to do A-Z thing only to go out with friends.

In graphic design world where I am working on, designers are advised to learn from tons of inspiration in order to deepen their taste and imagination. There are no absolute boundaries about it. There are no guidance about what's good or bad. From what I had experienced, what I usually do is simply take things that I could use and keep the others that I don't need for the other time as a reference.

I think the same rules is applied in my beauty routine. Honestly, I enjoyed learning about the new techniques and trends but in the end I was the one who decide about what kind of look I would like to pull out on myself. 

It is fine to go out without your makeup on.

It is fine to draw an imperfection eyeliner. 

It is fine to wear no lipstick.

It is fine to leave your brows as how it is.

It is fine to have red hair.

It is fine to have a messy buns.

There are nothing wrong with a heavy smokey eyes or red lips, but I would prefer to wear them on occasional events such as wedding party. There are nothing wrong with no makeup look because I want things to be simple for my daily routine.

The same thing goes for how I love dressed in pastel color and flower pattern when I'm feeling kinda sweet or the boyish kinda look when I go out with the boys. I love how I define myself in various way and I am proud of it.

I have my own preference when it comes to how I describe myself. If there's anyone who talk unpleasantly about how you do things, just take it as a good critics. We will not get hurt from learning though. 

Last but not least, have your own confidence shine through whatever you put on the outside and be yourself :)

I had read so many good reviews about The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil but since I'd failed with several products before, I didn't have much hopes in it. I was simply thinking I will only give this one a try before I go to dermatologist.
