Hello everyone! *waves to all my readers*

You'd probably known the reason why I've been missing for months. Yes! Thesis or skripsi (whatever). In short, it is all you need to graduate from university. Since I'm majoring in Graphic Design so I have to write a report or 'penulisan' and the solution through design works or 'karya'. My case is about corporate identity since I enjoyed creating logos. Many things to do and they're expecting us to be perfect. T ^ T  So I've been fighting with tears and blood for over 2 months.

For example, in H-3 before the presentation... I almost crashed in an accident twice and give me such a really nice injury ...

I've been going anywhere with motorcycle but never experience any single day worse than this. I was going out to print some of my works and it was SATURDAY! It shouldn't be as crowded as weekdays but I got hit twice on the motorcycle T_____T the first hit gave me that painful injury on my feet and the second hit almost dragged me down from the motorcycle. I feel cursed....

 But keep the good attitude and positive mind. You'll be alright. I passed it already and still alive now hahahaha.

That's not the only problem  got. I was freaking out when one of my lecturer is surprisingly incapable and against all the expert theories. Later I find out that my examiner is a logo expert. There are 8 people in my groups and I was the only one who make corporate identity... #crap.. -___________- I feel cursed (again)...

I guess that's the summary that you can imagine about my thesis. Everything could happen in your thesis and I just understand that it's really true. I even almost feel wanna quit but heyy... I passed it already now. I might wanna laugh at myself two months ago la if I quit. Just never quit :D 

The main point of this assignment is about rebuilding the brand image through its corporate identity which consist logo as one of the aspect. Not much explanation since you will be bored and burried under so many theories lol. Just enjoy the picture xD.

Can you imagine that I bring all of these stuffs by motorcycle?? LOL .. that's why I didn't bring my DSLR because I brought so many things already *_* Moreover I need to rush buying food for display earlier in the morning. And I have to arrived af uni before 8.00 because I still need some time to put the food in my display. I'd tried to buy them the night before but they were sold out T_____T The day before my presentation, I have to wait at the uni for my turn to display all of these thing until 6 pm. So hectic,right? They promised to give us time from 3-6 pm but we were just started at 4.30pm -_- 

But it is over... Everything turned into a really nice memory and make me giggle when I tried to remember it.

It's been pretty messy.. And my friend has grabbed the pastel in the picture above so the only left is the price tag only hahahaha...

But I do really surprised that in the end, my examiner (the logo expert LOL..) said that he likes my work and I'd done a really good job. I'm feeling super happy at the moment! Even if I didn't get an A, I've managed to meet so many logo expert and they inspired me so much <3 The experience itself means more for me :)

Crazy Little Thing Called Exam

Hi everyone.. I must be joking for making such a silly title above.. but that's what I think about it.. Sometimes it looks like a little thing (how can I say a final exam is a little thing LOL.. how desperate I am..) that drives me really crazy.. I'm in the middle year of the hardest part of college (I'm in my third year, fifth semester), so everything turns out like hell when it comes for exam.. I couldn't sleep well, all I know in my dreams is about color, composition, ideas, tasks, assignments, packaging, visual communication design, and many more. I have to count each day and arrange my schedule properly because there's so many things to be done but so little time that I have... So many lecturers didn't give me a clear explanation too as USUAL.. so I need to struggle with time everyday.. TT ^ TT But when everything is complete, I feel so relieved and also satisfied for all I'd done..

Well if you find that this post isn't interesting, just skip it.. :) .. and just to remind you, LOTs of picture after this..

This is what I'd done for my Visual Communication Design/ Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) 4 .. media application for a product's promotion.. I should design for 10 media, and it's minimum ...yes.. M-I-N-I-M-U-M! So you should have imagined that I have to rush and complete 10 media .. moreover I have to queue for printing all the media, and it takes a lot of time like crazy! Everyone wanna print.. everyone rush, and the print corner is so damn full everywhere.. And this is all the results.. I missed some details for finishing, but I have no money left for it..

 And this is the board that has successfully broke me out -.- I have no idea about what the use of this thing and realized what the use of it on the spot. It's only make my lecturers could see all of our design easily without touching or have to open all the catalog, calendar, and any other things that need to be open up. My friend said that he only bring his iPad inside the room, and captured everything inside there...

I hate it when I know for the first time, my lecturers has an idea about this just because one of people from another faculty were teasing on us about how miserable a visual communication design student when they're doing a display.. *speechless at the moment*.. somehow I feel like my work isn't appreciated at all if he just need to see all those thumbnails... what about if I give you the soft copy only? You can stare it all the time you want.. you make me pay for something that you didn't even looking at...

(I take the picture at home because it's blur and noise so bad when I captured it at campus with my cellphone camera, and since it's gonna be huge I decided to capture it in my working area, so the I'd censored so many messy things xP)

All designs are originally created by me and the photograph capture by my team (credit for Intan, Felicia,  Tris, Michael, and Kinnardi).

I should remind all of Visual Communication Design that this major really need much effort,money, and patience.. I swear about this!T ^ T

Let's move on.. This one is my Packaging Design major. Well since I love food, I decided to redesign a food packaging too.. and I do this in a rush, only one day .. I was too busy with my DKV 4 project since it has the biggest point this semester, 6 sks.. can you believe it? So I found this in my fridge and redesign it..

What do you think? :) I love its red color so I still use it and try to combine it with a pastry picture.In my opinion, the older packaging isn't focusing at the pastry. I found another weakness from the older packaging too for its square shape, it's hard to keep it in your fridge, I would prefer rectangle one eventhough it would be bulkier.

The last one is the display for my Visual Merchandising / Media Pamer Pajang major.It's an antivirus display. Well I do this in such a rush too, but quite satisfied with the results. :)

That's all I wanna share.. I'm quite satisfied with all of my works although they're not perfect... critiques and comments are welcome..  Now the exam has ended, just waiting for the results and hope for the best hahaha...

Photoshoot

Hello everyone! Well last week I and my friends did a photoshoot for my uni assignment. Since the product is a bag and my group consist of many girls, so we decided to be the model ourselves.. LOL.. I take the photographs of my friend and I'm quite satisfied with the results since I never took any model's photograph anymore.The photo will be used in my catalog design.

There's four main types of the bag. Formal bag for party or special occasion, casual bag for daily use, teenagers bag for younger customer, and a picnic bag which is really big.

I enjoyed the photoshoot so much. And if you look at the photo carefully, you should realize that the environment is really good too. It's perfect for outdoor photoshoot. It takes place at Rumah Sulam Rachmy workshop in Meruya. The workshop actually is the owner's house. It's really nice with a beautiful garden and big backyard where we can sit and talk. The owner is really nice and humble to us. She helped us a lot in our progress.

Monday already...

Hi everyone.. It's Sunday night already.. and sadly tomorrow I'll be busy with uni again.. I think I haven't get enough rest..I'm not feeling well lately, and no matter how long I rest.. still not in my usual condition.

I supposed to finish several things, but I'm stuck lately.. and finally I went out with my family. I'm shopping for my uni needs such as sketchbook, clear holder, black linen paper, and so on.. Graphic design really need lots of things especially for the performance, should be wrap with black linen paper, plastic, etc.. I know it should to be neat.. but somehow waste so many paper and plastic. I even can't remember how many roll of black linen paper I'd used for this 2 years, or how many sketch book paper that I used ..This only few things I got, because I was really in such a hurry... so I'll buy the rest later..

Uni needs

I also got my new double point needle.. Has been raved for it because I'm super excited to try knitting something smaller in round, such as leg warmer or hand warmer. It's gonna be used in next project, so just keep it wrapped lol...

By the way, today I wanna share something with you :) Lately I'd been really busy with my uni assignments, and I though I'm about to share what did I do last week.. Well the most interesting one comes from my Packaging Design subjects.. we were given a task to do a packaging design for instant coffee (ready to drink).. and after a long way of thinking and panicking for about a whole day (I'm totally turn crazy because I made it right before the submission...) then here's what I got...

I even can't believe myself ... When this picture appears on Google search, suddenly I got an inspiration and decided to use it..

And my biggest mistake is I was late when the exam began! The exam start at 8.30 AM, and I arrived at 09.00 AM!! There's so many things happened in the morning, and I keep praying all the way to uni...and luckily my lecture was late too. He's late around 1 hour, and I was late for about 30 minutes! Gosh, will never let this happen again.


Moved to another subject, this is known as Visual Merchandising or in another words Display. We were given task to design a sale event. The products, the brand, etc decided by ourselves. My team chose to design a nail polish display. It's a cute table display.. But this is only the dummy (miniature) with a scale 1:3. So this isn't the final one, this miniature is used for presentation in front of the class. Afterall, I'm quite satisfied with all of them.. :)

Well, another month before facing the final exam.. I miss my long holiday!! Hahaha I'd decided so many project to be done at holiday too.. so really can't wait for the end of the year...
