Farewell

Life sure has its up and down. Sometimes we are on top and at the other time we are at the bottom. There is no such thing last forever. People and things could change as the time flow. Sure I am aware of the basic rules of life. However, I feel like the whole 2015 was frozen in my mind as I couldn't even remember how it started. At least that's what across in my mind when it comes to the end of 2015.

Going back to the exact time last year. In the end of 2014, I see that 2015 is a year I've been waiting for. I feel like everything was settle and I will reach another checkpoint in my life. I remind myself about what to do when I'm turning 24. I had such a lot of plans, goals, and things in my mind. Few days after the new year, things started floating to the surfaces.

In the beginning, I didn't think it was such a big deal. A lot of things happened where ever I go and apparently not a good one. It seems I don't have a place to fit in.  It didn't last me long to handle such a lot of thing in such a short of amount of time. Three months afterward, things were just getting worse and it is one of the hardest time when I had the worst mental breakdown. I rarely talked to my friends and avoid any kinds of meeting. Remember Elsa in Frozen's movie? Never think I would be in the same situation. All I could do is shut people out and be alone. I'm afraid that I would hurt people in my current state although they understand and seems fine with it. I kinda understand how it feels to be under serious depression and how it could lead into serious attempt that might risk your life. I need such a long time to get things back on track.



Everything seems like a big mess. As a very complicated tangled knots in my life no matter how hard you tried. I started to pray a lot and a very good friend of mine told me to keep in my faith that the best is yet to come.

It might sounds cliche, but then I don't know a better word to address it.

MIRACLES HAPPENED.

By the end of the year, we're just talking about moving out. Few days afterward, a serious matter happened and we were finally urged to move out. Something serious enough that could shut people up of disbelief. Something unpredictable and not even once across in my mind. I was in a state of shock for only few days but then I just feel relieved. God answered me... in a way that no one could ever imagined before.

I still could hardly believe that everything happened in a flash and we actually started living a new life already. A lot of things happened in 2015 and I learned my lesson. When you need a long-break, just take your time, there is no need to rush things. When you need time to be alone, don't be so hard to yourself. I never think that I could enjoy life more than this. It feels like my life has started ticking again. Just in the right time. 

Birthday Checkpoint #23

This is probably the most interesting of my annual story, my birthday. As you had probably known, my partner is somehow full of unexpected surprise.

He started by waiting until 12.00 AM to be the first guy who say "Happy Birthday" to me. It is supposed to be a good sentence no matter how funny it is. It turned out to be a very short LETTER as...

HBD. (via line messages)

Hello?

Pardon me?

This is not a texting era anymore ._. In the past, shorter text messages will cost you less than a longer text messages. When I asked him about it, he feel there's something wrong then and repeat HBD HBD HBD again. He said,"Okay it is not short anymore, right?"

Your argument is invalid. o_o

Later on, he had planned for my birthday dinner. Well, to be honest I don't really have a high expectation on him considering his plan is getting worse by years, so I will just let anything good happen as a gift and anything bad as common sense in our relationship.

When I was entering the car, he seems quite confident of something that I was unaware of. He started the conversation.
P : I would like to give your gift now.
G : Hee? Can't we wait?
P : No no no.
G : ....

He suddenly grabbed something from his pocket, just like in this incident and continue..

P : You were complaining back then that I should have given you something better.
G : *trying so hard not to be impressed .. but failed*
P : So I give you this... *put something in my hands*

Welcome to the Club 22's

It's just another story that happened I opened my birthday present. Nothing special... well.

So, I wake up so late on my birthday because I had to stay awake to open the most hilarious present that I ever had. Since it was also Saturday, I and Pat decided to go out. Without any plan or idea.

P : Are you hungry?
G : Yes. But we're going to HolyCow Steak later. (The resto open at 5.00 pm and it was 3.00 pm at the moment)
P : Hungry already. *grumpy face*
G : Let's find something to eat at the mall then.
P : *see a Padang resto nearby* What about Nasi Padang?
G : Heh?
P : Okay, do you want to go or not? *clarify*
G : Yeah yeah... you must be so damn hungry already.
P : Why? You also like it, don't you?.
G : You should be thankful for having me as your GF. I dressed up already and you bring me to Padang resto because you are hungry.
P : Hahahaha at least I bring you to expensive Padang Resto and not the cheap one. (wtf... we ALWAYS eat there if he was craving for Nasi Padang)

So the first session of our lovey date is eating the-so-expensive Nasi Padang. 

After that, I picked MOI as our next destination randomly because it's easier to find a parking spot there on weekends. We went to Blitzmegaplex to check if there any good movies and decided to watch Elysium. The miracle is ... we still have enough balance to pay our ticket so we feel like not spending any money. LOL. We still have 2 hours before the movie begin so we decided to buy some breads. Actually we want to bring the breads into the theater. While passing Starbucks store, I asked Pat.

G : Hey did you bring our Starbucks Card? (it is a membership card with balance inside to purchase Starbucks products)
P : Ah, good idea. *go buy some drinks*
G : Is it enough?
P : Of course.
G : Wah, I feel like rich people today. Buy this and that without paying.
P : Well, I have a really good investment in these cards.
G : ....

And there he is with the results of his good investment (a.k.a. Starbuck's Vanilla Latte)

Me in dressed-up mode

Dressing up means I wear more girly clothes because Pat always said my jeans and T-shirt are sucks LOL (yeah you will understand why when you live in Jakarta)

The movie started at 6.00 pm and ended around 8.00 pm so we're kinda late for dinner. When we arrived at HolyCow, I saw bunch of people were queuing. :( So we decided to find another resto and we go to the nearby resto in Sunter, Terrace Cafe. Suprisingly, Pat could choose something good this time LOL.

And it's really surprising that they shape our rice into heart shape. :D

;') I am touched. They shaped all the rice that we ordered in heart shape including the additional rice LOL. The meal tasted really nice. Not forget to mention the huge dessert that we ordered.

Banana split *.* my favorite all the time. I love everything with ice cream!

They are really huge in portion. o_o

And the price it quite affordable as for us. It's just we order too much because Pat was keep saying,"It's your birthday so just order anything that we want." I will definitely come back again to this place. xD

There's nothing particular thing that I want except a better life, a better career in the future, and also a long lasting relationship with him. :) 

My Ultimate Wishlist

I was feeling super tired with my hectic schedule. Tons of work for mid-term and office. I feel like wanna faint and lay down on my bed all day long enjoying my free time. Dx  Well I did googling, browsing as usual for my works but I end up with so many things that I wanna buy, so I will share about what's in my mind now! :P

READY OR NOT? 

There are some gadgets and also so new make-up wish list though. It's gonna be a longggg post! xD Let's counting.

1.New laptop! ASUS N46 VM

It's been a long battle between Windows and Macbook in my head. So in short I choose Windows because of financial matters. It's just way too expensive for me. And my friend pick this type for me. I don't know but he swear that this is the best he can recommend to me. So yeah, it's going on my no. 1 list. I need a new laptop that could work smoother, and handle such a really heavy work. I wish I could get it as soon as possible!

2. Sony Alpha NEX-5N

You might scream at me,"You have an SLR already!! Why do you want a new camera??" First of all, I've to explain that my SLR camera is super big and not travel friendly. And it gives my shoulders so much pain if I have to bring it everywhere. People were always staring at me when I use my SLR camera. I was trying on  Sony Alpha nex 7 at my office for work purposes and omg I LOVE IT!! My boss who is a professional photographer also said that he prefer to use this camera than his SLR especially for daily basis. Okay that's what a pro said! I was asking about how the autofocus for video recording and he said it's really smooth. I youtube-ing already and YESSSS.....it's really smooth!! My DSLR camera was pretty bad in video recording autofocus.So I just really really wanna exhange my SLR with this camera. He even can use this camera for professional matter!! Dx #what!!

 I was kinda surprised and  I did google about this camera. Google said that it is the combination between pocket camera and SLR. It is called Mirrorless Interchangeable-Lens Camera or MILC. So you can get a high quality image as an SLR could do with a body as small as pocket camera could be. The price are also in average line for me. SLR itself isn't cheap, right. Google if you're still confused. Still wanna buy an SLR now?  #grin

3. Skinfood Black Sugar Mask

Ran out of any exfoliating product and I simply remember how I've been wanted to try this since a long time. Still super curious about this product. Some people said it's too harsh but some people also said it does a good job. Since I'm pretty sure that my skin is 'badak' enough, so I will try it LOL.

4. Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off

Another old wishlist. But I think I need to take care of my skin more. These two masks are the my most loved products from skinfood so far. Okay, I haven't give it a try, not even once. But I'm just pretty sure that it would be suitable for my skin LOL. I've been really satisfied using Skinfood products since it use natural ingredients as their core. :3

5. Etude House Surprise Concealer

Super duper need a good concealer that easy to travel with and works great. This one the only thing that comes in my mind. Well I don't really love to use palette-concealer type. It's just messy and not easy to travel with. 

6.Etude Tear Drop Liner

Has been want to try on this cute liner since a long time. But I was on a really tight budget to buy my laptop first. :\ So I can't buy any make-up thingy. But I really want this !!! I love glitters, shining things, and so on so bad!

7.Coastal Scent 78 Shadow Blush Palette

This is such a cheap alternatives for a student like me. You need more color to experiment with but you have no budget at all. It's the same condition when you wanna paint a painting but you didn't have enough color. And of course I can't mixed eyeshadow colors to create new color just like what I do with my poster paint. But still, waiting when Coastal Scent is on sale and they shipped to Indonesia!!

8.Mascara

I'm not really a mascara person. Lately, I love to use false lashes LOL because I need more time to clean off those mascara. But I think mascara can be a saviour when you need to meet a client, or when you have to go for an interview, and so on. I was talking like I'm a super busy businesswoman la! *what the hell* hahahaha. But seriously, sometimes in a real world, people judge you from your appearance. So mascara and eyeliner were my precious saviour! It can gives a hint of life to your eyes especially my half-dead eyes. >.> Hahahaha.... there's too many option though and I just cannot decide which one is suitable for my personal use.

9. Traincase

I was seriously need to organize my make-up and I wanna buy a traincase to store all my make-up. My mom has been complaining about the amount of my make-up that scattered everywhere. Well I always put some products that I use often in different place. So it's kinda looks messy that I didn't store all of them in a proper place. Well, in fact yeah it's kinda not well organized. @_@ #bad

10. Nail polishes!

I was not into nail polish thingy, not until I realize how fun to paint on my nail. My passion in art has become wider. LOL And I need some more color to paint my nails! T_T the problem is I almost buy everything online and choosing nail polish online is kinda hard. Besides they only had some shades to be chosen, I also cannot tried them first. So yeah... I think I need to build up my nail polish collection.

So yeah... I'm focusing on this list for now. Not sure if I wouldn't change my mind especially for the make-up parts. Or is there anybody who wanna sponsors LOL?? #kidding. I think I will spent my first salary to buy most of them.... Well I did realize that I'd been such a really bad blogger by making my readers read all this so-un-important list of mine. I was just really bored and tired because of exam and works. T ^ T

A Day at SeaWorld Indonesia

Hi readers.. :) How do you do? It's been a while since my last post.. I've been super busy lately with uni again!! T ^ T Have no time for blogging lately. But fortunately there's a little time between our busy schedule, so my BF said,"Let's go to SeaWorld!" SeaWorld is a big aquarium where you can see lot kinds of fishes and many more. I love that place. The last time I visit it is around ten years ago... So I'm really excited to go there..Beside I'm having a video assignment, I decided to take a video when animals are being fed.

Then here it us going to Seaworld..

It's much more smaller than I thought. Maybe it's because I was too young back then so that place looks bigger for me haha.. but I enjoyed many things more than when I visited it in past.
