Review Dr. Jart+ V7 Beauty Balm

BB Cream is one of makeup products that I used the most. Therefore, I stocked up several kinds of different BB Cream to be used in different occasion. Well I think it explain enough how I love using BB Cream than foundation. ;) I love how BB Cream could blend into your skin nicely and feels lighter on your skin for everyday use. 

Dr. Jart+ V7 Beauty Balm

This is the my first time trying on Dr. Jart+ BB Cream. Years ago, I was quite curious about this brand but I rarely saw any review about their products. :3 I got their lates BB Cream which is V7 Beauty Balm. V7 means seven vitamins are extracted in this product. It also claimed to have a perfect protection from UV/UB with a natural looking coverage.  Kinda excited to see how good this BB Cream could be.

The packaging is made from a plastic squeeze tube. It's really easy to control how much products that you need and more hygienic . 

SWATCH & TEXTURE

It comes in one shade and has a light beige color which suitable for people with medium or fair skintone. But it blend into my skintone perfectly so I don't have any problem with it.

It has a really light and watery texture. You only need a tiny amout and it can be easily spread with your fingers. Suprisingly, it does provide  medium coverage. I think the coverage will be poor since the texture is kinda light.You can build up the coverage by layering it on some area that need more coverage. I don't recommend you to do many layers since it could make your face looks like wearing an opera makeup.

It looks white under strong lighting or flash lamp. I guess it's because this product has SPF properties. Actually, it looks really natural under natural lighting and blend really well into my skin. It also does a great job in reducing red marks and uneven skintone. My skin is getting brighter in an instant <3  It also could reduce dark spots or acne scars a little bit, but I suggest you to use a concealer for a better results. :)

You can leave it alone without any powder because it dries into matte finish. But you can set it with a darker shade powder if you think it is too light. Looks more natural now, right? :D

I love it! This is perfect for daily use with buidable coverage and UV protection. It feels really light and quite moisturizing too especially because the weather is getting cold (and wet) lately. Moreover, it doesn't break me out at all!! I'm so glad! xD I was kinda worry because sometimes BB Cream could break me out so bad. The staying power is also really nice even when you're into a super hot weather. Remember not to rub your face in such a hot condition, but tap it with gentle motion. The BB Cream will last longer on your face :)

Review Etude House Precious Mineral Cotton Fit BB Cream

I can never get tired of trying new BB Cream. Seems like since I use it, I never stop to try on new BB Cream. I just loved them a lot.

This time, I will review Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Cotton Fit BB Cream.

If I'm not mistaken, this one is the improved version from the previous and famous Precious Mineral BB Cream. I heard many good reviews about it and some of my friends love them but I never really had a chance to try it haha.

The new version bottle is slightly bigger with 50 ml contents and a pump packaging. It's kinda bulky but that means it contains more products inside :P They come in different shade and I got the lightest one, N02 (Light Beige) which actually kinda too light for me.

Perfectly even out my uneven skin o.o great as everyone always rave about it. My face looks so smooth afterwards. It couldn't really cover heavy acne scars but that's why we need concealer right? The texture is really light and nice to work with. I found the best results by using makeup brush. ;)

The staying power is quite good and it has a matte finish which I love so much. It last around 6-8 hours on me and great for daily use with SPF 30 PA++. It's also really nice to use if you're on a special occasion such as date or hangouts. Especially for those who don't really fancy using foundation like me. I prefer use BB Cream wherever I go because it feels way better than using foundation. But I don't recommend you to layer this BB Cream to achieve more coverage because it will make you looks like wearing a mask.

Review Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion in Honey Beige

Cushion BB Cream hits the market nowadays. :D I was also tempted to see how good it performs. Luckily Etude House Indonesia contacted me and gave me this Any Cushion to be reviewed.

There are two shades available which is W13 (Natural Beige) and 24(Honey Beige). I got mine in W24 shade which is Honey Beige.

And see how high the SPF that they got here. SPF 50/ PA+++ ... o_O waaaaww

Looks like an ordinary compact powder with a separator and the puff on it.

They claimed this cushion as 6 in 1 multi-function products : Sunblock, Sebum Powder, Moisturising Essence, Brightening Essence, Foundation, and Cooling Sensation.

Unlike usual sponge, this is an air sponge that specially crafted for cushion usage. It could help to absorb the products and blend them nicely in no time. I wonder why it should be in blue color though haha. Most of cushion's sponge that I know are in blue color.

Under the separator, you will finally found... a seal :P

To make sure that it's brand new and never been opened before hahaha. Sorry if I disappoint you lol

After you open up the seal, then you will find your beautiful cushion under.

See? Feel like it's packed with lots of liquid :D

The air sponge works great in absorbing those liquid.

It's enough to cover half of my face. 

Uneven skintone, bad dark circles, and a big acne scars that I hate so much :(

Final results... I'm only using Any Cushion without any concealers.

Tempted or not?

This is my first time using a cushion BB. I was really surprised to find out that the results could be even and flawless. The cool sensation give kinda unique fresh feeling when applied. If you pick up too much products, don't worry. Dab it in several spots such as cheeks and foreheads then you can blend them afterwards. Seriously easy! :D Plus it contains high SPF so it's really perfect for daily basis. I was afraid that it would create a horrible whitecast, but when I tried to take several photos under flash lighting, it doesn't make me look like a ghost. ^.^

Coverage is medium as for me. It could even out my skin, cover redness, and light acne scars. You can see that my dark circles are nicely concealed. But you still need concealers to hide a darker scars or spots better. If you're too lazy just layer them one more time. :) Don't layer it too much except you wanna end up weird :P

It also has a nice finish that I love! Not too glowy or matte. Just in between them so your face looks more natural and healthy. If you need more oil control, you can apply a single layer of loose powder after usage. 

Easy. Easy. Easy

Too easy until I imagine that I could do it with my eyes closed. LOL Just dab the sponge gently and make sure the liquid is evenly spread. I even forget to use my brush or fingers as I never think that using sponge could be this easy. Moreover, they also provide the refill, so if you ran out of product, you only need to buy the refills :D

I think this products has solved the problem when we need to do our makeup in the middle of nowhere and quickly. Well, if I have to do my makeup somewhere else, the big thing that bother me is How I apply my base? It is super troublesome to bring your foundation or BB cream in your bag, not forget the mention that they had a chance to spill in too.

Moreover, I somehow prefer to use my makeup brushes because when I blend with my fingers, it takes more time (weird but it is true) and the results aren't neat. Plus it stained my hand. I somehow hate how my hands are stained then I forgot that I haven't put my contact lens in. I need to wash my hand properly before I could put them in... and so on :/ Seriously annoying haha.

With this products, I could do my makeup in the car way more easily :D As you will always bring your eyeliner and lipstick in your pouch. This cushion had completed all my everyday-war equipment LOL. If I need to do my makeup in hurry, I just clean my face with facial wipes and put this on. Paired with eyeliner and lipstick, I'm ready to go anywhere at anytime :D

Review : Holika Holika Luminous Silk in #1 Light Beige

I'm back with my BB Cream addiction. As I'm not a really foundation girl, I prefer to use BB cream instead. And I've been stick with my Aloe BB cream for about 2 years. So I think it's time to move on another products! My friend, Rini, suggest me to buy this. Since it has a pretty packaging (LOL.. it is so important to have a beautiful packaging laaa).. so yeah, I bought it straightly xD

Let's see whether it could impress me or not. 

I'm pretty surprised when I saw the tube is covered with a silk cloth and not a sticker just like other BB cream usually comes with. They also got a beautiful lace pattern printed on it. 

Feels so classy and girly at the same time.  Beware! There are lots of photos are coming LOL since it's really beautiful

Backside. Everything are written in Korean so I don't understand at all LOL.

I got mine in #01 Light Beige. And see that it got SPF 42  PA +++! Another love from this BB Cream.

Let's see if it performs as good as how it looks.

It comes in a pump type. A single pump or two would be enough for entire face.

The texture is really light and blends easily into your skin. <3 You can apply it with your finger, brush, or even sponge. I'm personally prefer to use brush because the results is neater. But you can use any methods that's comfortable with you :D

It's kinda fairer than my skin at first. But after few minutes, the color blends naturally with my skin color and giving a brighter complexion since my face is slightly darker than the rest of my body. Considering that BB cream tends to oxidize, I always buy a lighter shade for BB cream.

 The coverage is sheer to medium for me. You can build the coverage by layering it. But please do remember that this BB cream contains high SPF which could expose a horrible whitecast on your face. Especially if you're putting too much layer of it. So I suggest not to layer it too much.You can use concealer to get more coverage.

The finishing result is in between glowy and matte. This is the first time I feel that I don't have to set my BB cream with loose powder. But yeah since I got a combination skin, I feel like I have to set everything on my face with powder LOL.


 With minimum make-up on <3

It stays all day long when I'm doing my indoor activity. But it fades easily when I'm sweating a lot or doing any outdoor activity. Remmember to pat your face gently and DO NOT RUB! You can simply touch it up with powder. Oil control is pretty good as well, but still need to blot after several hours.

Started to love Holika Holika products!

I think this BB cream is  more suitable for those who are doing indoor activity although it has a high SPF. Since I'm hanging around in the office a lot now, it suits me perfectly. Unfortunately, this one can't be used for both indoor and outdoor activity. I still need another BB cream that couldn't easily fade by sweat and heat. And now I'm thinking to try on their Aqua Petit Jelly BB Cream since it has a lower SPF (no whitecast!) and also suitable for oily skin!! <3

Karena itu, aku seneng banget nyobain berbagai macam jenis BB Cream. ;) 

Review - Skinfood BB Cream Aloe#1

Happy New Year all ^^ .. although there's something special for me in this year...Let's face our day with full spirit and hope!! I wish this year can be fulfilled with many good things for all of us...

Today I'm gonna review my Skinfood BB Cream Aloe. First Time I know about BB cream, I was very confused to decide which one will suit me. Since there's so many variants of BB cream outside there.. I'm kinda interested with Missha Perfect Cover and Baviphat beside Skinfood Aloe. But, Missha PC is a little bit pricey for me if I buy it as my first BB cream, and in the same time it's hard to find Baviphat BB cream sample. So I decided to try Skinfood.

 I bought both Skinfood Aloe and Mushroom samples to see which one fits me better. It's said that Aloe is recommended for those who have oily skin and mushroom for those who have normal skin.   And Skinfood Aloe has stolen my heart.. ^^ I love its scent, fresh aloe. So finally I decide to buy the fullsize. Mushroom gets oily faster on my face. But, it doesn't mean I won't buy Mushroom in future...

See.. it match my skin perfectly.. Although my face's skin tone is a little bit darker than my hand.. but using this BB cream won't make me seems dull anymore.

I usually use a single layer of this BB Cream and then cover with Buckwheat Loose Powder on it.. If there's any special occasion, I might apply it about 2-3 layers more than before. Natural and fresh look for everyday....

But remember to clean your face til there's no BB cream left on your face.. It will cause breakout in the next day so be careful. =)

The coverage of this BB cream is medium, beside I don't want to use a thick coverage for daily use, so I'm fine with its coverage.. for those who wants more coverage, I might not recommend you to buy this one.

I give it 4 of 5 .. Like its coverage, its oil control too.. but it isn't waterproof and left some browns on my tissues when I wipe off my sweat..
