[Event Report] Introducing the Beauty Story

Morning everyone.

Few weeks ago, an invitation came from a new cosmetic brand named Beauty Story. Having a big curiosity from their packaging in the attached invitation, I was tempted to find out and attended their launching event last week.

The Body Shop as Official Makeup for Jakarta Fashion Week launched their latest creation, Color Crush, to emphasize your eye and lip makeup with stunning color.

The Body Shop Color Crush Eyeshadow
The Body Shop bring their latest mono eyeshadow series in 30 different color with pearly and matte finish, from nude beige color until shocking bring that can be adjusted for your everyday look from day until night. These eyeshadow were made from high quality pigments from Italia. It contains the  marula oil, coconut, honey, sesame oil, Community Fair Trade Brazil nut oil, and the ultimate vitamin E that helps as an antioxidants and moisturizer.

These eyeshadow can be apply in dry or wet condition. Each color could be used alone or combined with other color. It has a really nice texture and easy to blend. Moreover, these eyeshadow packaging can be recycled... o.o One more step to reduce plastic garbage ^.^

As for the lip color, The Body Shop come with 24 brilliantly vibrant shades of lipstick. These lipsticks are made from the combination of Community Trade marula oil from Namibia ,cherry seed , and crushed pigment. They come in three colour families : the brightest reds, the sweetest pinks, and the finest nude. Well they're all the perfect color that can be adjusted for any moments ;)

Their wide color selection allow everyone with different skin tone / color to play and adjust the makeup with their own style.

All these products are 100% cruelty free and created through an amazing process from natural ingredients.Not only that, The Body Shop also concerned about woman by cooperating with Eudafano Women's Cooperative and helped 1750 women to had a decent income. The Body Shop also paid attention to the environment by cooperating with Community Fair Trade Brazil from Candela co-op in Peru to grow the ingredients for their products. In this way, it helps to take care the environment in the same time. For example, the orchid bee that depends their life on this Brazil Nut Tree.

I tried to create the makeup look with four different color. Combination of pink, purple, and teal green... all of them are my favorite color! I also create a pinkish flower petals around my eyelid.

New LUX White Collection

Last week, LUX has launched their newest collection, LUX White Collection and they invited me to attend their launching event at Dharmawangsa Hotel.

I came with Endi and he did a makeover for me. It took around 2,5 hours LOL while we chat together and so on! He's also kind enough to curl my hair!! Finally I got it curled  again after years. Most of salon that I visited always put too much hairspray when they curl my hair, and I had a really hard time to wash it. T_T that's why I don't like to curl my hair at salon.

After stucked in the traffic for about an hour, got lost, etc. Finally we'd arrived! The Grand Ballroom had been decorated very well. And I met the other bloggers too! I was waving my hand to everyone but they're looking at me as if they don't know me. Okay Endi had succeed to make me unrecognized!! LOL... #peace

It's been a long time ago since I attended a beauty event and met them. :') so happy to meet you guys again!!

We're pleased to enjoy the foods and beverages. Yummy!!

The food was super delicious!! No doubt.  And then we entered the main room where the event take places.

The time stop for a while when I entered the room. It's amazingly beautiful if I should say. It's all white, shiny with crystals, they did a really good job!! I feel like a princess who is entering the ballroom to meet the prince. *_*

The event begins with an explanation and a little chat with Mrs Roslina Verauli which is a famous psychologist that I adore so much! She's so beautiful <3

She said it is true that the inner beauty is an important thing for every woman. But inner beauty needs the outer beauty to shine. :) Nice quote! Although people always said about don't just a book by its cover, but I think most of people will judge something by the appearance since it's the first thing that could be seen. I'm not saying that I'm judging people by their appearance, but admit that somehow we do that even without we realize. The first impression takes a really big point. Especially for the girls :D so don't forget to take care of the outer beauty.

In this campaign, Lux affiliates with Preciosa, a famous crystal company from Czesch for its beautiful masterpiece especially in collaboration with fashion house and palace. Preciosa itself means precious. Just spell Preciosa with a Latino accent LOL if you wondering how to mention it. :P Mr. Kucera Vojtech from Preciosa also said," Crystals like a woman who can make herself dazzle in many sides." It's even harder to mention his name than the Preciosa. o_o hahahaha pardon my lack of skills. But Mr. Kucera is a really nice guy. He explained about how Preciosa crystals are made.

The Amazing Spiderman with New Revlon PhotoReady and CLEO Magz

This post should've been up few days ago... but I'm totally forgot to scheduled it!!! *my bad!!* Another amazing event from Revlon. They sent me an invitation to their New Photoready Collection launching event at Gandaria City. They also kindly invite us to watch The Amazing Spiderman Movie together before the launching event.

The movie itself not really attracts me a lot because I think it turned out to be more romance than the action. I was expecting more action since this is a superhero movie. Hahaha anyway but a really nice treat from Revlon. ;) We were also given free drinks and popcorn! And what could be more fun than enjoying the movie with all your friends?

Wanna be Sweet? Play Etude at Pink Burlesque

WOHOOO!!! I'm back!! After long tiring week and lack of sleep, it's finished already! It's holiday time!! I got an invitation from Etude House right after my very last exam. The timing was just too damn good! LOL So after the submition, I and Stella rushed together to the event. Since it's being held at Taman Anggrek Mal which is pretty near with my uni, so we decided to went there together.

Etude House Pink Burlesque!

Etude House has been a really well known korean brand in Indonesia. As we know that korean make-up style is simple and natural look, but somehow people grown just like girl has grown into a woman. That's why make up also need an improvement.  Etude House try to bring something more colorful and different with their newest collection, Dear My Series.  This newest series can be used for special occasion such as for party look or stage make-up. And that's the main reason about why Etude House is coming with plenty of new series with more colorful and long lasting products.

And now we got into the event! Here's how I look. :) After running to submit my exam, I try to fix my make up and keep it simple.

As you can see, Etude House was using the main hall and fill them up with all Etude House Products, games corner, stage, etc. This is the 2nd Etude House's biggest event in Indonesia. And you can see how crowded inside there on weekdays!

Lots of products! And Franky enjoyed his time a lot by testing the products one by one on me LOL. I could see almost all range Etude House's product. Well, to be honest the products were too many!!

The new skincare line from Etude House, Skin Malgeum. It has a really unique packaging which look more mature to me but still cute! It provides you a wide range to make sure you can choose which one is suitable for your own skin.

There is also a make up demo by a korean MUA. She was showing to us how to create a natural korean look.
