Shade of Gold for Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year was coming earlier this year and it comes to my surprise that January almost ended already. I have no idea if it's only me but lately I feel like time flies way too fast. Anyway, this year I decided to have a break on collecting cheongsam every Chinese New Year. Not only because I didn't find suitable pieces this year, but I think the collection had grown quite a lot and it would be such a waste if I didn't have a chance to wear them after Chinese New Year.

Personal #1 - What I learned in 2016

Such a very late post but it's still January so please consider the whole month as the proper time to write a New Year's stuff.:9  Earlier this month, an accident happened so it kinda refrain me from writing this mandatory post. I'll talk about it later so let's stick to the title. A not-so-short talk about 2016.

Hello 2016

Hello everyone! I know it's kinda late but Happy New Year to all of you. As usual, I will start my annual post about the end of the year.

December is one of the busiest month, at least for me. My mom's birthday, Pat's birthday, and our anniversary. Not forget to mention, workload is increasing like hell too. I was so excited because things are totally different after we moved out (read here for the story about our moving).

Hello 2015

The old 2014 year has passed and we're currently moving forward into 2015. I can't never believe how time flies so fast. 

Therefore, here are several updates during the holiday. 

First celebration goes for Pat's Birthday and our 5th anniversary. These two things always come together every year considering he set our anniversary date right after his birthday on purposes. 

Pardon for the fierce looking and inappropriate but I can't help for not posting this lol. At least one photo can be forgiven hahaha. I'd secretly prepared a surprise party with his friends. The plan was nearly failed but we finally managed to make it happen.

Birthday Checkpoint #23

This is probably the most interesting of my annual story, my birthday. As you had probably known, my partner is somehow full of unexpected surprise.

He started by waiting until 12.00 AM to be the first guy who say "Happy Birthday" to me. It is supposed to be a good sentence no matter how funny it is. It turned out to be a very short LETTER as...

Pardon me?

This is not a texting era anymore ._. In the past, shorter text messages will cost you less than a longer text messages. When I asked him about it, he feel there's something wrong then and repeat HBD HBD HBD again. He said,"Okay it is not short anymore, right?"

Your argument is invalid. o_o

Later on, he had planned for my birthday dinner. Well, to be honest I don't really have a high expectation on him considering his plan is getting worse by years, so I will just let anything good happen as a gift and anything bad as common sense in our relationship.

When I was entering the car, he seems quite confident of something that I was unaware of. He started the conversation.
P : I would like to give your gift now.
G : Hee? Can't we wait?
P : No no no.
G : ....

He suddenly grabbed something from his pocket, just like in this incident and continue..

P : You were complaining back then that I should have given you something better.
G : *trying so hard not to be impressed .. but failed*
P : So I give you this... *put something in my hands*

Random Conversation #1

This is not a beauty-related-post, but you might wanna read this especially for those who loves to hear Mr. Pat's story. Got no pictures but just read, okay?

As usual, it's just an ordinary day just like the other day. I was going to work and Pat will pick me up by the end of the day. I had suddenly an idea to watch a movie today, The Target, which turn out to be better than Maleficent in my opinion LOL. I rarely watch any Korean movies, but when I watch any, it must be freaking awesome :p. Okay back to the main conversation.

I dunno why but I had such a bad mood swings after watching. Then Pat realized there's something wrong with me and asked me so many times. Since we're going home by motorcycle, well we need to put on the jacket and helmet. After he finished put on his helmet, he hold my hands gently and took something from his pocket.

I was kinda surprised that it's unusual for him to prepare a surprise. Not my birthday yet or even our anniversary.

Guess what did he put on my hand...?

It's a PARKING TICKET! All crumpled like a trash.... .______________.

This is a surprise you will never expect even from a person who has no common sense of romance!

Let me clarify everything one more time.

So after the-so-romantic-scene-you-might-imagine, he put the crumpled parking ticket on my hand! Act as if he has done nothing and asked me this stupid question,"Eh, what's wrong?"

I feel like time has stopped and stared at him for a while. This is not his first time doing some stupid act but this one totally knocks me down and left me with a big laugh at the end of the day. He told me he felt kinda guilty because I looked so shocked at the moment and I was probably expecting for something else.

Sometimes I think that I might probably fell for the stupid act of him. Hahahahaha.
